Within this division, VCI typically represents companies whose historical annual revenues range from $5,000,000 to $750,000,000. Secondary Markets Division


 Within this division, VCI fulfills two mandates:

1. We assist venture capitalists, private equity players, lending institutions and high net worth individuals in obtaining liquidity on privately held portfolio investments ("directs") that have reached their exit time horizon.

2. We assist the Limited Partners who are aligned with venture capital, private equity and banking groups by acquiring the LP's full or partial interest in the general partnership, including any unfunded portion of the commitment. We have partnered with a secondary fund with more than $5 billion of commitments since inception, whose most recent fund was $2.4 billion. Our partner is an active LBO, Venture, Mezzanine, Real Estate and Fund-of-Funds secondary buyer with nearly 400 completed transactions. Transactions are completed quickly, discretely, and with the ultimate in professionalism.

Venture Fund Fulfillment Division


Within this division, VCI uses its relationships within the fund-of-funds and corporate worlds to satisfy the requirements of venture capital and private equity groups that are seeking Limited Partners for a new fund. Our sources of capital prefer to work with funds that have a proven track record of success, but we will also sometimes act as Finders for first-time fund managers who are striving to build a reputation for themselves and who have a verifiable professional history which will impress our corporate and institutional LPs enough to consider a position within the new fund. Primary Client Division


Within this division VCI represents companies that are seeking their first, or perhaps a subsequent, round of institutional venture financing. We represent private firms and we also assist our venture capital colleagues when a particular portfolio company requires follow-on venture financing. Institutional sources of venture capital strongly prefer to be introduced to venture investment opportunities by people with whom they are familiar; VCI, in this regard, may be your most powerful ally. We look for exceptional management teams deploying cutting edge products or services with ROI levels that are acceptable to the primary venture markets. We review some 2,500 executive summaries or business plans annually and, like most VC’s, we do not sign NDA’s (please see NDA's (And Why VC's Won't Sign Them). While many executive summaries describe good businesses, not all businesses are what we consider to be “venture fundable.” If you believe your firm to be venture fundable, we welcome your inquiry to initiate confidential discussions with our Primary Client Division.
